Alright, since we are all nerds here I was thinking y'all could help me. Recently my old laptop I got about 2 years ago has been getting... Outdated. I plan on keeping it probably through next summer/next Christmas, but I would like to buy a gaming computer too. Does anyone know/use a good gaming computer or where to look?
Needs:
Fast enough to run Skype, fraps, intermediate level video editing software, and a game all at once
400ish + gigs hard drive
Built for gaming
So yeah if any of you know off the top of your head a good computer or a nice place to look for one that would be very much appreciated! I am very nooby when it comes to buying technology
Where to look, not Alienware
TigerDirect.com
If you want to build your own computer, go to a local electronics shop, or go to
newegg.com
They also carry computers. Craigslist might work, you never know.
Just surf the web and you're bound to find something.
Also Lord, Mac's can run almost 0% of games in the world, so... for a GAMING computer, not a good choice, also they are hell more expensive
Im am also about to get a new computer. I currenly have a mac (macbook air), they are good for simple tasks but not gaming. If you want one pre-built I world recomend Googling: CyberPowerPC.com. A good place to look for parts is PCPartPicker.com When I first started to research computer I knew nothing but now I know a lot about it. If you are looking to build it them there are lots of youtube videos that will be helpful. One channel that I alike a lot is LinusTechTips. I hoped that I helped you! (I know that Im a little late.)
